In acting, as in everything, you have to keep learning, keep working and keep training. One of the best parts about acting is that older and more experienced actors are sometimes available to train and teach you, sharing their advice and experiences. One of the very best places for this type of training in NYC is the Broadway Artists Alliance. I spent two weeks training there (one week for acting and one week for voice and the experience was nothing short of AMAZING. I earned so much about auditioning, improv, singing and even dance, too. The very best day was a morning intensive with Alex Brightman, who currently stars as Dewey in "School of Rock"; an afternoon intensive with Mamie Parris, who stars as Patty in "School of Rock"; and THEN going to see them both perform in the show!!!
